Nancy L. Laffely, a former Dining Services staff member, died on October 2, 2017, in Brunswick, Maine.

Nancy L. Laffely, 79, of 42 Hennessey Avenue, Brunswick, died Monday, October 2, 2017.
She was born in Twin Pines, Topsham, Maine on April 20, 1938, the daughter of Ovila H. and Emilienne J. Panchaud Bouchard.
She was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1957.
On November 9, 1957, she married the love of her life Leon H. Laffely. From a simple wink of Leon’s eye, 60 wonderful years began.
She was blessed with 9 beautiful children; Neil, Lonie, Jesse, Matt, Amy, Andrew, Nick, Sam and Eric, 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Nancy enjoyed being a mom. She had a playful heart and believed in keeping life real and simple. Her interests were gardening, swimming, apple picking with the gang, playing cards, and milk chocolate.
Nancy was a loving and supporting wife and mother.
Nancy enjoyed volunteering for Atlantic Regional credit union events and was employed by Bowdoin College dining services.
She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Alphie, Marcel (Butch) and Rudolph Bouchard and 2 sisters, Madeline Savoie and Doris Pelletier.
She is survived by Leon Laffely her husband of Brunswick; her children Neil Laffely and his wife Susan Oliver, Lonie Laffely- Ellis and her husband Scott, Jesse Laffely and his wife Sandy, Matthew Laffely and his wife Lynn, Amy Denis and her husband Jean; Andrew Laffely, Dr. Nicholas Laffely and his wife Mary, Samuel Laffely and his wife Diane, Eric Laffely and his wife Dee Dee; her siblings Henry Bouchard and his wife Joan, John Bouchard and his wife Muriel Ruth Klein and Diane Watkins.
