It is with tremendous sadness that we share the passing of the remarkable Pamela Marie Feingold who departed this life on March 16th, 2026, at the age of 64. Daughter of the late Adam and Barbara (Healy) Caputo, graduate of Needham High School and proud alumnus of Bowdoin College and Babson College (MBA).
Pam met the love of her life Bill Feingold, with whom they welcomed with love and pride their incredible daughter, Rachel. Pam was step-mom to Robert Feingold and his wife Dana, and Andrew Feingold; and grandmother to Alexandra and Camden Feingold. She was sister to Stephen Caputo and his wife Elizabeth, and Paula Caputo; and sister-in-law to Howard Feingold, and aunt to Catherine Caputo. She is predeceased by her magnificent mischievous pot bellied pig, Gracie.
Pam began her career in banking at Shawmut Bank, followed by Wainwright Bank and then joined Eastern Bank where she was soon promoted to SVP in charge of community lending. She touched so many lives through her work and her impact is insurmountable.
Forming relationships and nurturing friendships in the business world and her personal life, Pam brought people together. She believed in lifting up others, donating her time and talents serving on the board of directors of many organizations including Pine Street Inn, Alice’s House Inc., Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance, Victory Programs, Boston Rescue Mission, MassINC, Mass Housing Investment Corporation (MHIC), Children’s Investment Fund, and Rosie’s Place. Pam had a special place in her heart for Alice’s House and served as head cheerleader and team captain for her Soul Sistas at their annual fundraising walk.
Pam was a brave warrior and joyous thriver who lived each and every day as if it truly was the best day ever. With fervent passion and zest for life, her energy, love, laughter and light were beautifully infectious. She radiated kindness and every one of her numerous friends she made she treated as family.
Rachel, Pam, and Bill enjoyed many adventures together, traveling extensively around the world. Pam enjoyed sunrises and sunsets, kayaking and paddle boarding and beach walks at her ocean front home in Scituate, entertaining her many friends and hosting her annual legendary 3rd of July Fireworks party.
An avid and accomplished athlete, Pam was a gracious winner and fiercely quiet competitor in tennis, pickleball and golf especially at Meadowbrook Country Club, where she was an active and beloved member.
Pam was an example of love, charity, dedication, and strength. She was unique and revered, unlimited and loved beyond limit.
