Peter I. Brown, Instructor in Philosophy from 1962-63, died on July 6, 2016, in Syracuse, New York.

Dr. Peter I. Brown longtime adjunct professor at Onondaga Community College passed away suddenly last Wednesday, July 6 2016. Dr. Brown was born June 4, 1934 and grew up in Cleveland Ohio. He attended Harvard University where he received his undergraduate degree and went on to receive his Phd. in Philosophy. His true passion was teaching and he taught at Bowdoin College, Wells College and Akron University before teaching 30 years at Onondaga Community College. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard, of Cleveland, OH, and his companion of many years, Bonnie Hassett. He is survived by his sister Mary Weisbruch several nephews and nieces and many grand nephews and nieces.
