R. MacDonald Moore ’52

R. MacDonald Moore ’52 died on June 28, 2016, in Danvers, Massachusetts.

Ramsay M. Moore of Danvers, formerly of South Hamilton, a businessman, died Friday. He was 86.

He was born in Maplewood, N.J.

He attended Hebron Academy and was a graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Mr. Moore joined the Marine Corps in 1952 and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif.

He was employed as a regional manager for the Sucony Mobil Co. in Maine. Mr. Moore also worked for the US Microfilm Sales Corp.

He was later vice president and general manager of the microfilm division of Fuji Film USA prior to starting his own microfilm storage and archival company, The Foxx Group, in Salisbury.

He was a member of the National Microfilm Association and the Association for Information and Image Management.

Mr. Moore enjoyed listening to jazz, gardening, reading, walking his dog, Ripley, and sharing jokes and stories.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Susan S.; and a granddaughter.
