Ralph E. McDonald II ’85 died of cancer on December 4, 2013, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

He was born on September 6, 1963, in Keyser, W.V., and graduated from Kiski Springs School. He majored in history at Bowdoin and was also educated in Salzburg, Germany. He was employed for the last seventeen years at PJ Browns Restaurant in Saltsburg. He is survived by his mother, Jean S. House Bonnoni; brothers Quint McDonald, Andy Hoyle, and Charles Smith, and sister Dawn Kowalewski.
