Ruter, Tammy Jo (“TJ”) Yasuko age 44, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends at her home on June 19, 2015, in Greenwich, CT. TJ grew up in Savage, MN, and attended Burnsville Senior High School where she was an honors student who captained three varsity sports: soccer, cross-country skiing, and golf. She graduated from Bowdoin College and pursued a career in education – where she found her soulmate in Drew Schoudel, her husband of 14 years. After being given a dual-cancer diagnosis in 2012, TJ found her own spiritual path of healing and energized those around her with her steadfast vision and holistic approach. TJ exemplified the loving and compassionate person we all strive to be. She is survived by her husband Drew and their two furry compadres, Kuma and Jetty; mother and father, Yasuko and Don Ruter; and brother, Shane (Victoria) Ruter.
