Theodore M. Strong, Jr. ’56 died on September 23, 2021, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Ted passed away on Thursday, September 23rd at the age of 87. He was born in Rockland, Maine to Theodore Strong Sr. and Mabel Strong. He was predeceased by his parents and mother-in-law, Ann Lila Firm.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth (Liz), along with children Robert, Michael {special friend, Annie Pedersen}, Lisa, and many wonderful friends.

Ted graduated from Bowdoin College majoring in music before entering the army. Following his service, he received an MBA from Marquette University. His love of music continued throughout his life with his involvement in several choirs, musical productions and as a soloist.

Ted was a kind and loving man who cared deeply for his family, travel, reading, the theater, and long walks with his dog, Maggie.

He was an active member of North Shore Church as he was in the choir and served as a Stephen Minister and on several boards.
