Wayne W. Kronquist G’64 died on March 21, 2016, in White Plains, New York.

Wayne Wesley Kronquist passed peacefully on March 21, 2016. Born May 17, 1931, in Marinette, WI. He is a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI and Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME. He is a veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean War. He taught in the mathematics department at Scarsdale High School for 31 years. Wayne is survived by his son, Erick Kronquist (Dianna) of Stafford, VA, his daughter, Kimberly Marsh (Todd) of White Plains, NY, son Joseph Viera, Sr. (Mary) of Richmond, VA, and sister Barbara Elliott (Bentley) of Cedarburg, WI. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, great granddaughter and his beloved Shih Tzu Westchester Fields (Chester), and many others who loved him. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 between 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home (White Plains) with services at 7:30pm. Wayne will be laid to rest in Marinette, WI at Forest Home Cemetery, beside his loving wife Dorothy Mae who predeceased him in 1976.
