William S. Faraci ‘69 died on September 11, 2026, in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

William S. Faraci ’65

Atty. William S. Faraci, 79, of Salisbury and formerly of Haverhill, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Lawrence General Hospital.

He was born in Haverhill on August 16, 1947, son of the late Salvatore and Margaret (Kelley) Faraci. He was a graduate of Sacred Hearts School in Bradford and Central Catholic High School, Class of 1965. He went on to attend Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, Class of 1969, followed by the University of Virginia School of Law.

He spent his entire career as an attorney, helping countless families and individuals, and serving as the assistant city solicitor of Haverhill for over thirty years. He was always active in the community as a former head soccer coach at Haverhill High School, director and coach of Haverhill Youth Hockey, director of the Haverhill Boys Club, and member of several local clubs and organizations. He also was a past national president of the Bowdoin College Alumni Association and chairman of the Alumni Council.

William was an avid sports fan and followed sports at every level. He was happiest enjoying summers at the beach with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

William was predeceased by his loving wife, Sandra J. (Pike) Faraci, who passed away in 2024.

He is survived by his children David W. Faraci and his wife, Stephanie, of Melrose, Patricia Charette and her husband, Andrew, of Sandown, NH, Daniel W. Faraci and his wife, Katie, of Amesbury, and Margaret K. Faraci and her partner, Sean Ryan, of Brookline; his siblings Richard Faraci and his wife, Mary, of Concord, MA, Thomas Faraci of Bradford, and Edward Faraci and his wife, Patricia, of San Francisco; his grandchildren Natalie Charette and Jack Faraci, as well as several nieces and nephews.
