Peter M. LePoer ’77 died on August 2, 2015, in Columbia, Maryland.

Peter Michael LePoer, 60, of Columbia MD, on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Peter loved music, nature, and art, and pursued his interest in nature photography, jazz saxophone, kayaking, and woodworking with enthusiasm. A lifelong learner, he earned his MA in Philosophy from Johns Hopkins University and MA in Library Science from the University of Michigan, and was employed at the JHU Applied Physics Laboratory as a web developer. Beloved father of daughters Katharyn and Sarah LePoer of Columbia, Peter is also survived by brothers Kendall LePoer (wife Barbara) of Washington DC, and Gardner LePoer (wife Marja) of Ashby MA, and sisters Kathleen LePoer (husband John Fowles) of West Bolton, Quebec, and Doreen Morse (husband Bob) of Littleton MA, along with nieces and nephews.
