B. Lee Wood ’56 died on October 13, 2010, in Ithica, New York.

Lee Wood, 75, passed away at Beechtree Care Center, Ithaca, N.Y., Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010. He was born Jan. 12, 1935, in New York, N.Y., son of the late Byron Lee and Elizabeth Flanagan Wood. Lee and his wife moved to Lewes six years ago from Marietta, Ga.

Lee worked for forty years in the pulp and paper industry. The final twenty years of his career he was president of Leeco International, the consulting firm that he founded in 1983. He was a graduate of Friends Academy in New York City, received his bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and his master’s in business administration from New York University.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Annabelle Gutelius Wood; son Geoffrey Wood and wife Debbie of Boise, Idaho; daughter Elizabeth Wood and husband Peter Wolczanski of Ithaca; and four grandchildren, Gavin and Claire Wood, and Alex and Grace Wolczanski.
