Bruce L. Anderson G’64 died July 9, 2014, in Grand Rapids, Minn. He was born on August 28, 1936, in Minneapolis and prepared for college at Minnetonka High School and Littlefork-Big Falls High School. He earned a B.A. at Carleton College in 1958, a B.S. at Bemidji State College and an M.A. in mathematics at Bowdoin. He was one of the founding instructors at Rainy River State Junior College, where he taught mathematics until his retirement in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Sawchuk Anderson, whom he met in high school; son Dan Anderson; daughter Cheryl Bocnuk; five grandchildren; sister Gail Carlson, and brother Craig Anderson.
