Frederick P. Koallick ’45 died on February 26, 2018, in Rye, New Hampshire.

Frederick P. Koallick, 94, formerly of Peterborough, passed away after a period of failing health in Rye, NH, on February 26, 2018. Fred was born in Wakefield, MA, on December 5, 1923, the son of Leopold Koallick and Jean (Cox) Koallick.

Fred was raised in Melrose, MA. He earned a BA from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Columbia University before moving to Peterborough in 1950. Fred was senior Vice president, treasurer of NHBB and retired in 1985 after more than thirty years with the company. Fred was also a World War II veteran, serving in the 18th Weather Squadron of the US Army.

A long-standing member of the Peterborough Rotary Club, and a deacon at the Union Congregational Church, Fred had many hobbies, including ice hockey, volleyball, tennis, ballroom dancing, and traveling with his family throughout his life.

Fred is survived by his children Stephen Koallick of Portsmouth, NH, and Susan Olson of Hudson, MA, and their respective families.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Virginia in 2003.
