John C. Holmes ’70 died on June 2, 2007.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 8, 1948, and graduated from Indian Hill High School. A member of Chi Psi fraternity, he graduated from Bowdoin 1971, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Cincinnati in 1975 and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1977, both in sculpture.
