Kenneth Brigham ’55

Kenneth Brigham ’55 died on January 1, 2015. 

Ken Brigham '55He was born on October 14, 1932, in Northampton, MA, and prepared for college at Brewer High School in Brewer, ME. At Bowdoin, Brigham was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, the swim team, and glee club. He earned a master’s and advanced studies degree from the University of Maine and later taught school in China, ME, before working for several years as a sales representative for International Paper Company. For twenty-six years, he worked as a psychological examiner for the Portland, ME, school system. Additionally, Brigham owned and operated a bed and breakfast for many years and also served as a charter boat captain. He was married to Janice Bloomer, with whom he had three sons, Kenneth Jr., Russell, and Marc. Brigham and Janice later divorced. He shard the last thirty-three years of his life and is survived by his long-time companion, Donna Dillman. Brigham is also survived by his sons, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
