Mark C. Viale ’81 died on September 10, 2013, in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born on August 31, 1958, in Pittsfield, Mass., and prepared for college at Pittsfield High School, where he captained hockey teams that won three consecutive Western Massachusetts championships, and at Phillips Exeter Academy. He worked at Oracle Global Communications for four years and most recently held the position of customer-centric program director. He also held leadership positions at Portal, Stellent, KPMG, and Geary. He is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Susan Black; daughters Nicole and Gabriella; son Joseph; his parents, Marilyn and Craig Viale; and sisters Kim Peterson and Diane and Lisa Viale.
