Peter Chapman ’56 died on April 20, 2018, in Hingham, Massachusetts.

Peter A. Chapman, of Hingham, former and longtime resident of Cohasset, Massachusetts, died April 20, 2018, surrounded by his family.

After graduating from both Bowdoin College and Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and completing military service in the U.S. Army, Peter went on to begin a successful career in finance with Price Waterhouse. He held several financial management positions before proudly branching out on his own with PAC Consulting. Peter enjoyed sailing, tennis, golf, running, basketball, cribbage, traveling, and cruising around in his convertible. He will be dearly missed.

He was the beloved high school sweetheart and husband of fifty-five years to the late Jane Chapman; devoted father of Linda Bastarache and her husband, Paul, of Cohasset; Peter Chapman Jr. and his wife, Katherine, of East Schodack, New York; David Chapman and his wife, Linda, of Norwell; and Jennifer Kuser and her husband, Eric, of Hingham; cherished “Bumpa” of Ryan, Lindsay and Abigail; loving brother of Richard Chapman, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; and loving companion of Marilyn Stewart, of Hingham.
